SC Cleared Google Cloud Engineer

Looking for a SC Cleared Google Cloud Engineer to join my client for an initial 12 month engagement.

• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: flexible depending on experience
• IR35 Status: Pending Determination
• Clearance: MUST hold active SC clearance
• Location: Hybrid – primarily remote with occasional onsite work in the South West (exact location disclosed confidentially)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Build and deploy models using Vertex AI
• Develop machine learning pipelines and production AI services
• Integrate AI models into cloud-based data platforms
• Support deployment, monitoring, and optimisation of models
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and programme stakeholders
• Ensure solutions comply with security and public sector requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience delivering AI / Machine Learning solutions
• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI
• Experience working in agile delivery teams

Desirable Skills:

• Google Cloud certifications
• Experience working in government or secure environments
