SC Cleared Project Manager - Defence

SC Cleared Project Manager
Must have significant MoD/ Defence experience (ex-forces would be ideal)
Initial 6 month contract starting ASAP
£500 per day Outside IR35 (by self-determination due to small company exemption)
Working on a hybrid basis in Wiltshire

iO Associates are working exclusively with an SME company to source an SC Cleared Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract.

Till now they have not needed to have a proper Project Management structure in place and they’re therefore looking for a Project Manager to come in and set up a proper PM/PMO structure up, and then help them to deliver a key project of theirs in the military Training & Simulations space.

Key requirements:

• Must be able to start up a project from scratch (i.e. no existing governance, reporting, RAID logs in place at all)
• Be able to map out the required journey from current state to end goal and set up an appropriate project plan
• Must be able to do financial planning (with the support of capability leads who can advise on the costs for each element)
• Active SC Clearance
• Experience with the use of or creation of military Training & Simulations is desirable but not a requirement.
