We’re supporting a growing consultancy delivering high-impact transformation programmes across Central Government and Defence. As demand continues to increase, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Product Manager to help shape and lead the next generation of digital products and services.

Active SC Clearance Required

Hybrid working: 2 Days onsite Central London

Day rate: £600 – £625

Start date: End of September

The Opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for owning product direction from discovery through to delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet both user and business needs.

You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, help define future product vision and roadmap priorities, and provide leadership across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy, vision and roadmap development
• Lead product discovery activities to understand user, stakeholder and organisational needs
• Work closely with engineering, design and delivery teams to build and enhance digital services
• Prioritise product backlogs based on value, risk and strategic objectives
• Use customer insight, market analysis and performance metrics to inform decision-making
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and build consensus across diverse teams
• Ensure products deliver measurable outcomes and align with wider organisational goals
• Support the successful launch and continuous improvement of digital products and services

Experience needed

• Must have recent Government, Defence or wider Public Sector experience
• Familiarity with GDS principles and user-centred design
• Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes
• Background delivering technology-enabled change initiatives
• Security clearance (SC or higher)
