SC/DV Cleared Delivery Lead

Role: Delivery Lead – Defence, Software & AI (multiple headcounts)

Location: Predominantly remote with occasional visit to Portsmouth/London

Package: £60,000 – £85,000 dependant on experience

Clearance: UKSV DV clearance strongly preferred (Active SC considered)

We are partnering with an established consultancy in their search for experienced Delivery Leads (benchmarked at SFIA 4 and SFIA 5) to lead the execution of complex software, digital, and AI-driven initiatives across an ongoing defence programme.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Governance: Direct delivery across the GDS (Government Digital Service) lifecycle, managing complex task workflows from discovery through to live deployment.
• Agile Execution: Champion modern Agile delivery frameworks; run ceremonies, manage Jira backlogs, remove delivery blockers, and maintain robust team velocity.
• Technical Programme Alignment: Interface closely with multi-disciplinary technical teams focused on modern software engineering, data, and applied AI capabilities.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the primary delivery focal point for MOD partners, translating operational requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps.

What We Are Looking For

• Framework Delivery: Proven background managing digital services through GDS lifecycle standards within central government or Defence domains.
• Tooling & Methodology: Deep practical expertise in Agile delivery and advanced backlog management using Jira.
• Domain Exposure: Prior track record leading software, digital platform, or AI/ML-related programme deliveries.
