Security Assurance Lead – Up to £65k – Corsham (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Security Assurance Lead to support a programme focused on ensuring robust security controls, compliance, and risk management across systems and processes. This role involves leading security assurance activities, performing risk assessments, and implementing best practices to maintain a secure operational environment. This position is ideal for security professionals with SC clearance seeking a hybrid working arrangement.

Role Details:

• Salary: Up to £65,000 per year

• Location: Hybrid – likely 2 days per week onsite in Corsham

• Security Clearance: SC required

• Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security assurance and compliance activities across systems and projects

• Perform risk assessments, audits, and security posture reviews

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure security controls are applied effectively

• Provide guidance on security best practices and mitigation strategies

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in security assurance, risk management, or a related field

• Knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and best practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• SC clearance
