Position: Senior Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Location: Dublin (Hybrid; 1 to 2 days per week in the office)

Salary: €70,000 up to €95,000 (dependant on experience)

Are you an experienced, hands-on finance professional ready to take full ownership as the sole, dedicated finance person in a high-growth scale-up?

We are partnering with a HealthTech business whose diagnostic platform optimises clinical decision-making and operational capacity across the NHS and wider health systems.

With annual recurring revenue tracking past €2m and a 3-year target of €15m+, the business is ready to establish its internal finance lead. Working in direct partnership with the Founder & CEO, you will take complete, end-to-end accountability for all things finance, bridging daily operational execution with long-term commercial strategy.

This is a stand-alone, highly hands-on role. Currently, day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and tax are managed externally via an outsourced partner, with senior inputs from the CEO and Board. You will manage and coordinate that outsourced relationship while taking direct control of the numbers, gradually bringing key activities in-house as the business scales:

• End-to-End Ownership: Remove financial administration entirely from the CEO by managing everything from billing, cash collection, and payroll sign-off to monthly management accounts, balance sheet reviews, and board packs.
• Hands-On Execution & Advisory Management: Work closely alongside the outsourced accounting provider to ensure reporting accuracy, while personally driving runway modelling, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Commercial & Strategic Input: Partner directly with the Founder/CEO and sales leads on pricing models, contract profitability, revenue recognition, and upcoming international expansion.
• Investor Relations & Fundraising: Own quarterly investor packs, annual shareholder updates, and provide direct modelling support for future fundraising rounds.
• Process & Controls: Set up scalable policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks (including multi-jurisdiction VAT/tax) from the ground up.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant: Fully qualified ACA / ACCA with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Sole Contributor Mindset: Genuinely motivated to be the only person in finance, happy rolling your sleeves up for detailed operational tasks while sitting alongside the executive team to guide strategy.
• SaaS / HealthTech / Tech Scale-Up Experience: Prior background in recurring-revenue, B2B software, or high-growth contract-led businesses.
• Outsourced-to-In-House Track Record: Experience managing external accounting partners or transitioning externalised finance functions into robust internal setups.
• Pragmatic Partner: A proactive self-starter with strong stakeholder skills who thrives working directly with founders in fast-paced environments.
