Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Instrument Designer (Electrical & Instrumentation bias) to support ongoing offshore brownfield projects. This role will focus on detailed design, system integration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards across instrumentation, fire & gas, and telecom systems.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering outputs while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver 2D AutoCAD design drawings for offshore instrumentation systems.
• Work across instrumentation, fire & gas, and telecom systems design.
• Ensure designs comply with offshore codes, standards, and regulations.
• Support engineering teams on brownfield modifications and upgrades.

Essential Requirements

• Strong experience with AutoCAD 2D.
• Proven background in instrumentation systems design (E&I bias).
• Experience with fire & gas and telecom systems.
• Prior experience working on offshore brownfield installations.

Desirable Skills

• HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience with offshore drilling facilities

Additional Information

• Hybrid role (3 days per week in Aberdeen)
• Immediate start preferred.
• Outside IR35 contract
