A Security Cleared Senior Java Developer is needed to work with a global technology organisation providing software and digital solutions that help public sector and regulated organisations deliver essential services to millions of people worldwide. With decades of experience and a cloud-first, innovation-driven approach, it partners with thousands of customers to solve complex challenges and drive digital transformation.

You will play a key role across the Software Development Lifecycle, working on both legacy and modern Java-based platforms. Using agile delivery practices, you will collaborate closely with developers, testers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design, build, enhance, and maintain complex systems. The role also involves contributing to code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

• Active Security Clearance (SC).
• 5+ years’ experience in software development with strong Java expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring, Maven, Git, and JUnit.
• Strong experience developing and integrating Web APIs (REST/JSON and XML/SOAP).
• Proven experience delivering complex enhancement and maintenance-focused programmes.
• Exposure to infrastructure and tooling such as Docker, Ansible, Python, and Linux is desirable.
