Working within a multidisciplinary manufacturing team, you will play a key role in transitioning products from development into industrialised, certification-ready production, ensuring robust, repeatable, and high-quality processes.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for complex components and assemblies (e.g. surface treatment, bonding, electronics integration)
- Select, specify, and commission production equipment and machinery
- Define and optimise process parameters to ensure stable and repeatable production
- Set up and validate machines, tooling, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Analyse process performance data to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability
- Create and maintain process documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets, process logs)
- Monitor process stability using statistical methods and process control tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace quality and traceability standards
🧠Candidate Profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment and production environments
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
- Experience with data-driven process optimisation
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English (additional languages are beneficial)
