Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Process)

Working within a multidisciplinary manufacturing team, you will play a key role in transitioning products from development into industrialised, certification-ready production, ensuring robust, repeatable, and high-quality processes.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for complex components and assemblies (e.g. surface treatment, bonding, electronics integration)
• Select, specify, and commission production equipment and machinery
• Define and optimise process parameters to ensure stable and repeatable production
• Set up and validate machines, tooling, and fixtures
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Analyse process performance data to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability
• Create and maintain process documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets, process logs)
• Monitor process stability using statistical methods and process control tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams
• Support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace quality and traceability standards

🧠 Candidate Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries
• Hands-on experience with industrial equipment and production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
• Experience with data-driven process optimisation
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English (additional languages are beneficial)
