  • Own mechanical architecture decisions, balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, serviceability and cost.
  • Develop mechanical solutions for advanced thermal management products used in demanding semiconductor environments.
  • Lead 3D modelling, detailed component and assembly design activities.
  • Apply thermal engineering principles, including heat transfer and thermal system optimisation.
  • Contribute to thermal modelling and system performance analysis.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support product industrialisation.
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls, systems and test engineers on integrated product solutions.
  • Provide occasional customer-site support for installation and commissioning, typically around once per year.

To Succeed, You Will Need

Essential

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Thermal Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience leading mechanical design activities on NPI/product development projects.
  • Experience taking products from concept through to production release.
  • Background in technically demanding industries such as semiconductor, vacuum technology, process equipment or aerospace.
  • Strong GD&T and engineering tolerancing knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel for customer installation and commissioning activities.

If you’re an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong NPI, mechanical design and thermal engineering experience, and you’re looking for an opportunity to work on advanced products within a highly technical engineering environment, we’d love to hear from you.
