We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join an Infrastructure team supporting and evolving a complex enterprise network environment. You’ll take the lead on design, implementation, optimisation, and 3rd line support, with a strong focus across Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies. You’ll also support network transformation work and help mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN and data centre networks
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto network/security platforms
• Provide 3rd line support for complex incidents, including root cause analysis
• Lead/own network upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement
• Deliver and support routing/switching, including:
  • BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • STP, HSRP, VRRP
• Implement and support secure connectivity solutions:
  • VPNs, SD-WAN, remote access
• Manage Palo Alto firewall services, including:Produce/maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Policy management, NAT, IPS, URL filtering
  • GlobalProtect VPN, threat prevention
• Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional delivery
• Mentor and support junior engineers as part of day-to-day BAU and project work

Required Experience (Summary)

• Strong hands-on enterprise networking experience (design + support)
• Proven delivery with Cisco + Juniper + Palo Alto
• Deep routing/switching knowledge (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting in production environments and comfort owning 3rd line escalations
• Solid documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills
