Senior Process Engineer – Space Sector – 12 months

Our client is looking for someone to make an impact on the production for a new project that is out of this world.

What we offer:

– €600 a day

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for space components (e.g. structures, propulsion hardware, composites)
• Support industrialisation from prototype to serial production, including process validation and qualification
• Optimise production workflows to improve efficiency, yield, and cost
• Collaborate with design and AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA)
• Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis on non-conformances
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory standards (AS9100, ISO9001)
• Support supplier qualification and oversee external manufacturing processes where required
• Work with manufacturing teams on machining, composites, assembly, and integration activities
• Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives
