Senior Product Manager – Secure Satellite Communications

Location: Lake Constance Region or Munich, Germany (Hybrid)

Our client, a global leader in secure communications and defence technologies, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of next-generation satellite communication and secure networking solutions.

This position sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer engagement, engineering, and market development, offering the opportunity to shape solutions used within defence, government, aerospace, and critical communications environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage product roadmaps for satellite communications and secure networking solutions
• Develop product and feature specifications in collaboration with engineering teams
• Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies
• Create competitive positioning and go-to-market strategies for new and existing products
• Support pricing strategy and commercial business cases
• Work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable product solutions
• Deliver product demonstrations, customer presentations, and support international trade fairs and industry events
• Support bid and capture activities for strategic programmes
• Guide products throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept development through deployment and long-term support

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• Experience within SATCOM, secure communications, networking, aerospace, defence, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of communication systems, network architectures, and technology product development
• Experience managing products, solutions, systems, or technology portfolios
• Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders
• Fluent German and English
