iO Associates are aligned with a leading Data & Analytics consultancy that specialises in helping organisations modernise their data platforms, unlock actionable insights and accelerate digital transformation through cloud-based data solutions to find a Principal Consultant.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor across the sales lifecycle, helping customers design and adopt modern data architectures that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical presales engagements including discovery workshops, Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Value (PoV) exercises.
• Design high-level Snowflake-based solutions aligned to customer objectives, technical requirements and business outcomes.
• Deliver impactful demonstrations, presentations and solution workshops to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Sales and Consulting teams to drive opportunity qualification, solution positioning and successful customer outcomes.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, security, performance optimisation and operational support.
• Proven background in a Presales Consultant, Solutions Architect, Data Consultant or Customer-Facing Technical Consultant position.
• Advanced expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Experience with technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Azure Data Factory, dbt, Matillion or equivalent data integration tools.
