Due to increased demand, there’s an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to cutting-edge technological developments and continuous improvement. As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking an experienced Software Systems Engineer to lead critical aspects of their software development projects. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the technical foundation of innovative products that are vital to future mobility and aerospace solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, evaluate, and coordinate technical requirements with stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Analyse specifications and standards to extract precise and actionable requirements.
- Develop, refine, and review requirements and agile artefacts throughout the development lifecycle.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including specifications, traceability reports, and certification, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Support the ongoing expansion and development of the Requirements Engineering & Testing department.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience as a Systems Engineer, preferably within avionics software development.
- Proficiency with requirements management tools. E.g. DOORS.
- Experience working within regulatory frameworks such as DO-178, with familiarity of agile methods in requirements engineering.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and resolve conflicts constructively.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience in requirements validation and verification processes.
- Knowledge of additional requirements management tools or software development methodologies.
- Background in systems engineering or related technical disciplines.
