Solutions Architect - Infrastructure

Contract Solution Architect | SC/DV | Outside IR35

London (3 days onsite)
£600-£650 per day
3-4 Year Programme (6 month rolling)
SC Cleared (DV or willing to undergo DV preferred)

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major government programme delivering secure, mission-critical infrastructure and new technology services.

You’ll be responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions, producing high and low-level designs, presenting to Technical Design Authority, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver secure platforms in highly classified environments.

We’re looking for experience in:

• Solution Architecture within secure Government or Defence environments

• VMware Cloud Foundation (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, Aria)

• Private & Hybrid Cloud

• Infrastructure migrations and transformation

• High availability, resilience & disaster recovery

• F5, NGINX or VMware Avi load balancing

• Microsoft & Linux platforms

• Zero Trust / Secure Infrastructure design

• Strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience

Desirable: OpenStack, Kubernetes, IaC, VMware Horizon, CI/CD, NSX Networking.
