About the Opportunity

An established and highly respected financial services consultancy is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join its growing Capital Markets practice. The organisation partners with leading market participants to deliver strategic and tactical transformation programmes across front-to-back operations.

The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior leadership to shape and deliver change initiatives across capital markets environments.

You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into functional specifications and supporting the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
• Develop and present detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications
• Build and contribute to business cases and target operating models
• Design efficient IT solutions aligned to business and regulatory needs
• Coordinate with development teams to deliver technology enhancements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst / IT Consultant within Financial Services
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets operations and market structure
• Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements
• Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
