iO Associates has partnered with a dynamically growing semiconductor manufacturing technology client to source an experienced Technical Project Manager for their team in Bochum.

Our client has developed next-generation technology for microchip manufacturing and are looking for someone with special machinery expertise to oversee custom special machinery design and deployment for individual customer projects.

Requirements

• Project Management Expertise: 3+ years of professional working experience leading complex technical, industrial, or mechanical engineering projects.

• Deep knowledge within special machinery building, semiconductor technology, or precision automated equipment.

• NPI & Scale-Up: A strong track record in ramp-up management and successfully transitioning complex products from development stages into production and deployment.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will take full end-to-end ownership of development, customer integration, and industrialisation projects from conception through to delivery.

• Project Ownership: Independently plan, manage, and monitor project objectives, budgets, resources, and critical milestones.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate and align interdisciplinary internal teams across R&D, production, sales, and field service.

• External Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for international customers, strategic partners, and suppliers.

• Risk & Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk analyses and proactively implement countermeasures to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Governance & Reporting: Organise and facilitate project reviews, workshops, and milestone meetings, providing transparent communication to executive management.

• Process Optimisation: Actively contribute to refining and scaling internal project management methodologies and standards.
