Within the Integrated Logistic Support & In-Service Support (ILS/ISS) function of a Customer Services organisation, we are currently seeking a Technical Trainer (m/f/d) to join the team at a Southern Germany location (Stuttgart area).
The Customer Services function is responsible for ensuring the long-term availability, support, and operational readiness of complex optronic systems and products. During the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) phase, the team establishes the logistical and service foundations for long-term sustainment. In the In-Service Support (ISS) phase, services and spare parts are delivered under contract to ensure maximum system availability throughout the lifecycle.
This role plays a key part in enabling customers through high-quality, modern technical training solutions.
Preparation and delivery of customer training programmes worldwide for advanced optronic products and systems
Independent design and development of training concepts, including the creation of associated documentation
Development of e-learning courses and digital training solutions
Continuous improvement and implementation of new training formats, with a strong focus on digital learning
Gathering and analysing information from design documentation, manufacturing data, and existing hardware/software
Close collaboration with internal technical stakeholders
Willingness to travel internationally as required
Completed studies in engineering education, technical communication, user experience, media education, e-learning, or a comparable qualification
Proven experience in developing training materials for both classroom-based and online learning environments
Solid understanding of didactics, particularly digital learning methodologies and media didactics
Experience with graphics tools and learning management systems (LMS)
Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; Access advantageous)
Strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with a structured, reliable, and self-driven working style
High level of initiative, responsibility, and confidence when working with international customers
International experience is advantageous
Good German skills and fluent English
Experience with ASD S1000D, including practical application, as well as SGML/XML knowledge, is a plus
Knowledge of ILS processes and basic LSA principles is advantageous
