Role Summary
Due to ongoing expansion and a strategic push towards innovation in their testing procedures, our Client is seeking a motivated Testing Engineer. This position is crucial for enhancing product quality and meeting higher testing standards. The role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, as you will collaborate closely with the development department and contribute to the development and refinement of testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
As a Testing Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing test requirements and new testing methods in collaboration with the development team.
  • Creating detailed test instructions and comprehensive test reports.
  • Testing, repairing, and commissioning PCBs, assemblies, and systems, including hands-on tasks that require soldering skills.
  • Conducting checks on production orders and incoming goods according to defined quality characteristics.
  • Performing factory inspections alongside customers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Managing the storage of measuring equipment.
  • Constructing testing facilities to optimise testing procedures and promote efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A completed technical qualification in electronics or measurement technology, with a technician school background regarded as advantageous.
  • Practical experience handling various measuring equipment.
  • A solid understanding of radio frequency and power engineering.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • A positive work attitude, strong reliability, and a team-oriented mentality, accompanied by a keen awareness of quality standards.

Desirable Skills & Experience
While not essential, the following skills and experience would enhance your application:

  • Previous exposure to advanced testing technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience in collaborating within cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations related to electronics testing.
