The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Transmission Protection FAT Tester to join a specialist team supporting major transmission projects. You’ll be hands-on with protection panel FAT, scheme testing, fault finding and snag clearance within a factory environment.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out protection panel FAT, functional/scheme testing and secondary injection testing.
Perform Omicron testing, numerical relay testing, fault finding and snag clearance.
Test and verify 132kV, 275kV and 400kV transmission protection systems.
Configure and check protection relays across platforms such as Siemens SIPROTEC/DIGSI, ABB/Hitachi PCM600, GE Multilin/EnerVista, SEL or Schneider MiCOM.

What We’re Looking For
Proven hands-on experience with protection panel FAT and Omicron secondary injection testing.
Genuine transmission protection experience at 132kV+ is essential.
Experience with numerical relays and fault finding.
Suitable backgrounds include Protection & Control, Protection/Test, Relay Test, Commissioning or Protection Technician roles.

Important: Industrial/distribution-only experience (e.g. 11kV/33kV) is not suitable. This role specifically requires transmission protection testing experience at 132kV+.
