User Researcher – Active SC Clearance Required
Start Date: 5th May
Rate: £375 per day (Inside IR35)
FTC Option: £60,000-£65,000 pro rata
Duration: Initial engagement through to mid-August
Location: Hybrid (London or 1-3 days onsite for those based outside London)
We’re supporting a well-established digital consultancy known for delivering impactful, user-centred solutions across the UK public sector. Their teams work closely with government departments to design and improve critical services used at national scale, with a strong focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and meaningful outcomes.
You’ll be joining a high-profile public sector programme, contributing to the design and improvement of services that directly affect citizens. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where user research plays a key role in shaping service direction and influencing senior stakeholders.
The role requires an experienced User Researcher who can take ownership of research activities end-to-end, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure user needs are fully understood and embedded into delivery.
Key experience required:
Experienced user researcher who can own the development and delivery of user-centred research plans
Well versed in research methods and questioning techniques that avoid bias and promote accessibility
Ability to thoroughly analyse data collected through research and translate this into tangible user needs and personas
Confident influencing stakeholders through clear, evidence-based research insights
Comfortable pushing the boundaries of research to include edge cases and underrepresented user groups
This role requires active SC clearance and availability to start on the 5th of May.
