About the Role
Join an innovative autonomy company developing the assurance layer for next-generation autonomous systems. You’ll play a key role in verifying safety-critical software that enables trusted AI and autonomous flight within highly regulated aerospace and defence environments.
Working alongside leading engineers, you’ll contribute to the verification, validation, and certification of embedded systems designed to meet the highest levels of functional safety and airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification strategies for safety-critical software
- Produce verification plans, test frameworks, and certification evidence
- Perform requirements-based verification and validation
- Support DO-178C verification activities and compliance
- Conduct integration, system, and qualification testing
- Maintain traceability across the software lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers to achieve certification objectives
- Support the evolution of the company’s assurance framework
Required Experience
- Safety-critical software verification & validation
- Embedded and real-time systems
- Requirements-based testing and traceability
- Verification methodologies (automated testing, fault injection, fuzz testing, Monte Carlo, etc.)
- Experience within regulated engineering environments
- Certification evidence and compliance documentation
Nice to Have
- DO-178C
- DAL A / DAL B programmes
- Aerospace, Defence, UAV/UAS or Autonomous Systems
- Formal Verification / Static Analysis
- SIL / HIL / SIH testing
- Flight control or mission-critical systems
- SORA or aviation certification knowledge
