Azure Data Engineer

An Azure Data Engineer is required for Data Modelling and ETL into the Data Warehouse.

The Azure Data Engineer will need to demonstrate a strong background in data warehousing projects with a specific focus on data profiling, data quality, data mapping, data engineering, PLSQL, and Data modelling.

1. Working in complex organisational structures delivering data quality analysis and documentation in a scaled Agile environment

2. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement, experience in engaging with multiple stakeholder groups

3. Strong analytical background with several data integration projects under their belt

Advanced/Expert level SQL/PLSQL skills to reconcile source/target data and to validate business rules/requirements

4. Excellent technical understanding of Kimball methodology, Data Warehousing, and BI concepts.

5. Dimensional modelling and data governance.

6. Extensive experience with Azure products such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse.

This is a 12-month contract outside IR35 with an IT Consultancy in Aylesbury, the position is hybrid and will require 2-3 days in the office.
