- Develop, validate, and adapt soft and hard armour solutions for tenders and customer projects.
- Participate in product testing and field trials with end-users.
- Support the design team in integrating ballistic protection into functional, ergonomic carriers.
- Work closely with R&D, sales, procurement, and production teams throughout the development cycle.
- Present new solutions to customers and support technical discussions in tenders and projects.
- Contribute to exhibitions and customer demonstrations.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Interest or experience in ballistic protection, materials testing, or protective systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator who can liaise with military and law enforcement clients.
- Team player with initiative and a hands-on mentality.
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel for testing, customer visits, and exhibitions.
We Offer
- A permanent position in a stable and innovative Belgian company.
- The chance to work on projects with real impact in the defence and security field.
