£35 PER HOUR INSIDE IR35

Cost Engineer is required for a global organisation committed to driving innovation, engineering excellence, and sustainable solutions across advanced manufacturing and composite technologies.

This role is ideal for technically minded professionals with experience in manufacturing particularly within the composites industry who have a strong understanding of materials, production processes, and cost analysis. You will work closely with finance and engineering teams to evaluate material usage, manufacturing methods, and cost efficiency while supporting continuous improvement across production lines.

Required skills:

Strong technical knowledge of materials, composites, and manufacturing processes
Any background in cost engineering, cost modelling, or cost estimation is advantageous
Ability to translate engineering and production data into accurate cost assessments
Comfortable working within finance-aligned functions while supporting technical teams
Adaptable and eager to learn and utilise new digital tools and cost-analysis systems
