Data Architect (Databricks) - 12-Month Contract - Dieburg (German Fluency Required)

We're seeking a Data Architect with strong Databricks experience and at least 2 years in financial services, banking, or fintech. Fluency in German (spoken and written) is essential.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain scalable data architectures using Databricks and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
Build ETL/ELT pipelines and implement data governance and security practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
Optimize data workflows and ensure compliance with financial regulations

Requirements:

2+ years' experience in data architecture in financial services, banks, or fintech
Expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python
Fluent German communication skills
Knowledge of cloud-native, lakehouse architectures and CI/CD pipelines

Location: Dieburg, Germany (remote)
Contract: 12 months
