Head of Aerostructures Engineering - New Aircraft Program

Requirements:

Master's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
12+ years in aerospace (aviation) structural engineering, with significant leadership experience.
B2 level or above in French
Fluency in English
Proficiency in tools like NASTRAN, PATRAN, ANSYS; strong knowledge of composites and metallic structures.
Exceptional team-building, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
Ability to present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical leadership to the aerostructures engineering team.
Guide the design, analysis, testing, and certification of aircraft structural components and systems.
Oversee structural design and analysis, including FEA, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as FAA and EASA.
Ensure seamless integration with other aircraft systems and lead structural testing programs.
Define scopes, schedules, and budgets; manage risks and deliver milestones on time.
Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Implement rigorous quality assurance and safety standards.
Act as the primary technical liaison with customers, regulators, and internal teams.
