Job Title: Integration Test Engineer

Location: On-site Munich Germany (1 day remote work)

Duration: 18 Months contract (Conversion possible)

Pay rate: 45 Euros/hour (Negotiable)

You will be joining an innovative company that is poised to transform cross-country travel with a focus on environmental sustainability and advanced technology.

As an Integration Test Engineer, you will oversee sophisticated integration tests from initial request to delivery of test data, always aiming for the qualification and certification of our aircraft. You will collaborate closely with our highly talented development team members across various disciplines, including avionics, autonomous flight, propulsion, and energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess test requests, refine them with the design team, and liaise with test experts from various departments.
  • Identify instrumentation requirements and design custom test equipment, including procedures and documentation.
  • Develop and coordinate complex test rigs, managing support teams and key suppliers.
  • Own and manage E-Motor Test Benches and critical Powertrain Distribution Units on Integration Test Benches.
  • Execute tests using automated tools, evaluate test reports and results, and create Failure Analysis Reports as needed.
  • Report and discuss test results with the system development team, handling any ad hoc tasks or projects from management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronics, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field with 3-5 years of testing experience.
  • Beneficial knowledge and experience with multi-kW electrical machines, drives, HV System Integration Labs, and ARINC standards.
  • Proficient in test rig instrumentation, execution, data processing, and understanding electrical and communication architectures.
  • Familiarity with network protocols (CAN, ARINC, RS422/485, UART, Ethernet) and mechatronics basics (sensors, actuators, controller systems).
