Salary: £45,000 - £60,000

With a focus on safety, innovation and quality this is the perfect opportunity for a highly skilled, well-rounded engineer with a background in highly complex mechatronic systems and full product development experience.

What will you be doing?

Proven experience developing safety-critical mechatronic systems (e.g., automotive, aerospace, or medical devices).
Strong background in pneumatics, fluid power, and E/E systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and embedded software development.
Familiarity with ISO 26262 (preferably Medini), ISO 21434, and industry compliance standards.
Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional engineering teams with clear delivery ownership.
Solid understanding of change management, from design updates to production implementation.

What do you need to bring to the table?

System-level thinking with the ability to deep-dive into technical detail when needed.
Proficiency in diagnostics, calibration tools, and OTA update systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a highly structured approach.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence design and business decisions.
