We're seeking an experienced Paint Pilot to lead the paint application process for vehicle bodies from development to launch. You'll ensure every car body has a flawless, durable finish while driving efficiency, innovation, and quality.

In this role, you will:

Oversee and validate paint processes from pre-treatment to clear coat
Lead defect analysis and corrective action for surface quality issues
Collaborate with suppliers and equipment vendors for process optimization
Support paint shop readiness for new models, including equipment and layout changes
Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost-saving initiatives
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations

You bring:

10+ years in automotive paint or coatings engineering
Strong knowledge of paint materials, robotic systems, and application processes
Proven problem-solving and leadership skills in a high-paced manufacturing environment
Familiarity with quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem solving
Willingness to travel to plants, suppliers, and testing sites as needed
