PLC / SCADA Development Engineer

iO Associates have partnered with a leading Systems Integration company in their recruitment for an Junior to mid-level Automation Engineer in Bristol.

Working in PLC/SCADA based Automation, my client are a renowned European integrator across Europe, offering best in class training and development as well as an excellent benefits package and progression opportunities.

Based in Bristol, they are looking for a candidate who experience in development on commercial PLCs (they predominantly use siemens but other packages will also be considered), ideally with a background in process Automation Systems.

The mantra to their working policy is that they have the support there whenever you need it, if you would prefer to be in the office then they can accommodate for this, but if you are completing the work then there isn't a set structure outside of key team meetings. They feel that this allows for better creative problem solving and, coupled with the capacity to bounce ideas off of a professional and accommodating environment that supports finding solutions.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need demonstrable experience in the following areas:

• Commercial PLC / SCADA Experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Schneider)
• Experience in process Automaton

Salary on offer for this role is between £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience as well as a good benefits package.
