Quality Control Engineer

Up To £475 per day (via Umbrella)

24 Month Contract

We are working with a global leader in the defence sector who are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join them for a long-term contract assisting with Quality Control on an ongoing infrastructure project in Plymouth.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure defects are tracked and rectified and manage compliance with employer specifications and instructions.
Perform and witness on-site quality control inspections, material testing, and checklist completion during track construction.
Support third-party inspections, audits, and certification processes.
Preparation of quality-related documentation, Inspection and Test Plans, and provide input for project quality reports, audits, and KPIs.
Maintain traceability of materials and records throughout the construction process, ensuring proper documentation and lifetime quality records are archived.

Essential Skills:

5 Years previous experience in quality and inspections in projects of a similar size and complexity.
Previous experience in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication or NDT
HND/HNC in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or suitable experience in similar field
