Role Summary Our Client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team due to strategic growth and evolving regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the overall quality standards within the organisation, making a significant impact on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Perform AS9100 audits and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and implement Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Lead and support 8D investigations and resolutions


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience in quality engineering within the aviation industry
  • Proficiency in AS9100 standards and quality management systems
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ECRs (Engineering Change Requests)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
