Senior Engineer - Android Graphics Framework
Up to £75 per hour Inside IR35
12-month contract

West London, - Hybrid (3 days in office)

As a Senior Android Graphics Framework Engineer you will help drive high-performance graphics solutions for future mobile devices. You'll optimise rendering pipelines, integrate with new hardware platforms, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier visual experiences.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in computer graphics & middleware, particularly with Vulkan (preferred), OpenGL ES or similar.
  • Deep understanding of graphics pipelines and modern mobile GPU architectures.
  • Expert level proficiency in C and C++.
  • Significant experience in real-time embedded software development (mobile devices preferred).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with SKIA graphics library.
  • Shader programming (GLSL, HLSL, etc.).
  • Android OS internals / system-level software.
  • GPU driver development.
  • Image processing / computational photography.
  • ARM 64-bit architecture knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Java / Python.
  • Exposure to ML / neural networks.
