SysOps Engineer

Role: Senior SysOps Engineer

Location: Bern, Switzerland

Salary: up to 145k CHF

Working model: Hybrid

You will be joining the cloud focused area of the company, working closely with the infrastructure, development, and operations teams, bridging everyone together to provide solutions to customers from consultation through to migration and maintenance.

Your task

You will be focusing on elements that connect developers to the customer's requirements. You have expertise in container orchestration platforms, automation, and architecture, and you know how to effectively use your expertise in these areas, to help customers meet their specific cloud needs.

• You will manage the architecture, design, and implementation of solutions for cloud/on-premise projects, optimising existing solutions, creating new, and migrating from on-prem to cloud.
• You are responsible for operational support in 3rd level support.
• You handle the integration with other platforms (OpenStack, VMware, network, ...).

Your skills

• Technical BSc or above.
• 6+ year's production experience with Windows (and ideally Linux).
• Hands-on experience with container platforms (Docker, K8s, OpenShift).
• Your skills include VMware, Shell, Bash, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Gitlab.
• English fluency and either French OR German fluency.
