Job Title: UX Consultant
Salary - Upto £60k
Location: Manchester, UK

As a UX Consultant within the Technology Solutions Practice you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the delivery of emerging technologies and addressing business and user challenges through technology development. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with users, stakeholders, and Scrum development teams to research, design, and deliver digital experiences for prestigious clients. You'll engage with end-users and customer communities to gather insights, create prototypes, and solicit feedback on designs.

Experience:

  • Experience applying a User-Centric Design approach to digital and software projects, involving close collaboration with end-users and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in producing high-quality UX outputs including Personas, Journey Maps, Blueprints, and Site Maps/IA.
  • Proficiency in creating wireframes, functional specifications, and interactive prototypes using software such as Figma, XD, or Sketch.
  • Experience planning and leading user research sessions to capture insights and needs, and effectively communicating findings to client stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and with end-users to understand, research, and design digital solutions.

Desirable:

  • Experience with GDS (Government Digital Services).
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Information Architecture, Service Design, Interaction Design, UI Design, Design Systems, Visual Design.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in User-Centered Design (UCD).
  • Previous consulting experience with a track record in client engagement and delivery.
