Functional Application Support (FAS) Engineer

Onsite - Portsmouth

Salary - up to £57K

MOD DV Clearance required

I am currently looking for an FAS Engineer who holds DV clearance to join a Defence and National Security consultancy on a permanent basis!

You will be working within a secure military environment with other skilled engineers. This will primarily involve incident management on the clients' live system, on FAS App incidents that have been escalated from level 1/2 resources that are often remotely based environments.

We are looking for someone who can collaborate well with other members of the team, approach complex technical issues seeing a bigger picture and assist the customers directly.

Ideally, you will have experience in:

• Experience working for or supporting NATO programmes
• Operating Systems: Windows Server 2012/16, Windows 10, VMWare, Solaris, HyperV, Powershell. Windows Policies and Firewall settings, RedHat/Oracle, PKI, SQL, PostgreSQL

• Reviewing documentation for Installation and integration of software packages.
• Experience of FAS Applications support: NIRIS - ICC - JChat - LOGFAS - JOCWatch - TOPFAS
• Strong PowerShell and other scripting experience
