ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

iO Associates are partnering with a company who is looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer for Special Machine Construction to join their team in Radolfzell. This organisation is recognised for delivering innovative solutions in the design and integration of bespoke machinery, and they are now expanding their engineering department to support a growing portfolio of projects.

LOCATION: Rodolfzell
LENGTH: 12 Months+
RATE: €30-€50 per hour (negotiable)
WORKING STYLE: On-Site

Day to Day:

Work independently on electrical design tasks within project frameworks
Analyse customer requirements and ensure technical feasibility of solutions
Plan and calculate electrical systems, selecting suitable components and materials
Collaborate with adjacent departments and liaise directly with customers
Provide support during system setup and commissioning phases

Your Profile:

Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
Solid experience in electrical system design and planning
Skilled in E‑CAD tools, ideally EPLAN
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. VDE, DIN)
Independent, structured working style with strong teamwork skills
