Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Pay rate: £45.00 p/h inside IR35.

Role Type: Contract until April 2026 with an Extension

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop architectures for data acquisition and control systems
Create electrical schematics and specify instrumentation for diverse measurements (pressure, flow, voltage, current, etc.)
Collaborate on requirements and technical documentation
Contribute to the setup of advanced laboratory test means and facilities

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or KiCad
Strong understanding of electrical design principles and systems
Hands-on experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems
Familiarity with avionic data buses (ARINC 429, CAN, AFDX) and hardware interfaces (discretes, analogues)
Solid grasp of testing principles
Agile mindset with a strong team spirit
