Are you an experienced engineer ready to take on a key role in an exciting aerospace program? We are looking for a Development Engineer in Systems Installation to join a cutting-edge aircraft development project and contribute to the design and integration of mechanical and electrical systems.

In this role, you will focus on cable harness design, routing and installation, ensuring seamless integration within a highly innovative aircraft platform. You will take ownership of the physical design and installation of electrical systems, collaborate closely across departments, and play a crucial part in delivering a state-of-the-art product.

What you will be doing:

  • Designing and installing electrical aircraft systems and harnesses according to requirements
  • Allocating space for equipment and defining harness routings
  • Defining interfaces between systems and structures (ICDs)
  • Creating and releasing manufacturing data (3D models in CATIA, drawings, BOMs, harness data)
  • Coordinating design with stakeholders and supporting the V&V process
  • Driving activities across all phases of product development to meet program milestones

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems installation or airframe design
  • Strong background with CATIA V5 / CATIA 3DX, especially EWIS physical design
  • Engineering degree in aeronautics, aviation or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of certification requirements, design criteria and materials
  • Familiarity with harness routing and installation rules (redundancy, segregation, protections etc.)
  • Experience across several aircraft development programs
  • Strong communication, coordination and presentation skills

If you are looking to play a hands-on role in shaping the future of aircraft systems and enjoy working in a dynamic program environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.
