Job Description:

As a EMC Test Engineer at this company you will play a key role in conducting EMC testing and certification for automotive, medical, and radio wireless products. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements, from initial testing to certification approval. This role requires expertise in EMC testing, particularly for wireless technologies such as RFID, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, and automotive powertrain systems for electric vehicles (EVs), chargers, and batteries.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct EMC testing and certification for automotive, medical, and radio wireless products, including powertrain systems for EVs, chargers, and batteries.
Perform end-to-end testing and certification processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as 228, LLC 15 Part C, and ETSI 300.
Use specialised equipment to conduct EMC testing, analysing test results, and providing recommendations for design modifications.
Collaborate with clients to understand their testing and certification needs, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the process.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for testing procedures, results, and certification approvals.
Work independently to manage testing projects, from initial client contact to final certification approval.
Support clients with market access documentation and regulatory compliance requirements.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities to address technical questions and resolve issues.
Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies in EMC testing and certification.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in EMC testing and certification, with expertise in automotive, medical, and wireless products.
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements, including 228, LLC 15 Part C, and ETSI 300.
Experience working in an independent test agency or similar environment, managing testing projects from start to finish.
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using specialised EMC testing equipment and software.
Fluent in German (preferred) and English.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite near Munich, with some remote work flexibility.
