ILS Manager

Your Responsibilities

Develop and implement ILS strategies for new and existing maritime platforms.
Create and maintain ILS documentation across the full lifecycle.
Coordinate support requirements with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
Optimise logistic supportability from design to disposal.
Perform Life Cycle Cost analyses and support cost-efficiency initiatives.
Conduct LSA, FMECA, RAMT activities and evaluate obsolescence risks.
Prepare technical manuals, spare parts catalogues, and documentation packages.
Collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, project managers, and military authorities.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory bodies.

What You Bring

Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, defence technology, logistics, or similar.
Strong experience in ILS/LSA (naval/defence background preferred).
Familiarity with ASD S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, MIL-STD-1388, DEF STAN 00-60.
Fluency in German & English.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Bonus Skills

Experience with ships, submarines, and complex maritime systems.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
Knowledge of risk management and cost optimisation.
