ILS Manager

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ILS strategies for new and existing maritime platforms.
  • Create and maintain ILS documentation across the full lifecycle.
  • Coordinate support requirements with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Optimise logistic supportability from design to disposal.
  • Perform Life Cycle Cost analyses and support cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Conduct LSA, FMECA, RAMT activities and evaluate obsolescence risks.
  • Prepare technical manuals, spare parts catalogues, and documentation packages.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, project managers, and military authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory bodies.

What You Bring

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, defence technology, logistics, or similar.
  • Strong experience in ILS/LSA (naval/defence background preferred).
  • Familiarity with ASD S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, MIL-STD-1388, DEF STAN 00-60.
  • Fluency in German & English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

  • Experience with ships, submarines, and complex maritime systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of risk management and cost optimisation.
