Interim Head of Engineering

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Interim Engineering Manager with strong CAPEX Project Management skills and multi-site leadership experience to drive UK-wide engineering standards, capital projects, and operational excellence for a leading FMCG manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multi-million-pound engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring best practices in utilities, automation, and maintenance.
• Oversee engineering compliance, governance, and capital expenditure (£10M+) while optimising factory services.
• Inspire, mentor, and develop a team of 10 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive strategic planning and regulatory compliance, ensuring operational excellence across all UK sites.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven senior leadership experience in engineering within FMCG manufacturing (Food, Drink, Pharma, or related industries).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across matrix structures.
• Track record in CAPEX project delivery, engineering compliance, and team development.
