Role Overview

You'll own the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale transformation initiative, establishing governance, managing delivery across multiple work streams, and ensuring measurable benefits are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Lead programme delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
Set up governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement structures.
Align outcomes with regional strategies and digital standards.
Oversee work streams covering data, citizen services, and infrastructure.
Manage risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
Lead a multidisciplinary team and promote continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

Proven track record delivering complex digital transformation programmes.
Strong governance, change management, and stakeholder engagement experience.
Knowledge of data strategy, emerging tech, and digital service design.
Skilled in budget and resource management.

Experience in Combined Authority or Local Government.
Understanding of transport, housing, and economic development priorities.
Familiarity with GDS standards and agile delivery methods.
