Quality Engineer

Up to £50 p/h Inside IR35

Redditch (Onsite)

6-12 Month Rolling Contract

A global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Redditch. You will be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient solutions, enhancing the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of manufacturing processes around the world.

The company is an aerospace forging company supporting clients like Rolls Royce, Airbus, and Spirit Aerospace.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control procedures
Conduct inspections, testing, and corrective actions
Analyse data to improve processes and reduce waste
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance quality
Train staff on quality protocols

Requirements

Background in Aerospace, Automotive, or Defence
Strong knowledge of AS9100 or IATF 16949
Skilled in quality methodologies: 8D, 5 Whys, 3C, DMAIC, SPC, Pareto
Proven experience in quality assurance
Experience in Chemical Processing, NDT, Heat Treatment, PPAP, PFMEA
Forging or casting experience (Aerospace preferred)
