Senior Developer (SC Cleared)

Location: Exeter (Hybrid)

Day Rate: £600 - £650 DOE (Inside)

Job Role: Senior IT Practitioner (Python/ AWS)

Contract: 2-year Fixed contract (40 hours)

Who will you be working for?

iO Associates have paired with a government body who are looking to take on a Senior IT Practitioner on a 2-year contract bases. This government body is responsible for helping the public make better/more informed decisions to thrive.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting the consumer digital platform which provides key data to the public websites and mobile apps. You will also be communicating directly to the stakeholders updating them on progress and key milestones, so communication is key!

You will also need to understand current and emerging cloud technologies (AWS Primarily) to support and mentor junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and experiences in the hope of making them more autonomous.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Developing and supporting resilient, secure, and scalable services in cloud
• Proven knowledge and experience in Python & AWS Developer Kits
• Agile based- tribe environment
• Enthusiasm working in IT and an ability to solve problems and provide efficient and effective solutions
• Organised and structured approach to timescales
• Written and Oral communication
