Senior Structural Design Engineer

Location: Schwaben/Swabia, Bavaria, Germany

Employment: Direct Permanent Employment

Salary: up to €80k pa depending on experience

Working Hours: 4 day work week - 36 hrs per week

My client is a Part-21J organisation specialists in aircraft design & certification providing modifications, upgrades, and conversions services. To drive upcoming projects they are searching for an Senior Structural Engineer to metallic structural development.

The role:

• Development, design and certification of metallic primary & secondary aircraft structures and mechanical systems to EASA/FAA CS-23/25
• Certification testing for aircraft structures and systems.
• Coordinating with internal and external partners
• Supporting in-house tasks

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in aerospace structural development engineering
• Experience in conceptual/detailed design of metallic aircraft structures in CATIA V5
• Experience checking of compliance demonstration documents to be certified according to EASA/FAA CS-23 and/or CS-25 certification requirements
• Good knowledge in checking of drawings, BOM and specifications
• Fluent English, German language is a benefit
