Stress Engineer

iO associates are partnering with an aircraft start up in the Munich region who require a Stress Engineer to join their team.

Role responsibilities:-

• Perform stress analysis on primary and secondary metallic or composite components through hand calculations and/or FEM
• Produce structural substantiation reports meeting program and certifying authority standards.
• Manage offsite suppliers, providing technical guidance.
• Support multiple organisational departments with stress-related issues.
• Document technical data in accordance with internal standards, addressing content, quality, compliance, and safety aspects.

Role requirements:-

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar relevant field to Stress Engineering
• At least 5 years' experience in Stress Analysis in Metallic and Composite Structures
• Experience with CS-23 Aircraft
• Fluent in English
