Technical Editors (m/f/d) | Defence Industry

Location: Germany-wide (Permanent Employee, Full-time)

We're looking for talented Technical Editors to join our dedicated team across Germany. If you thrive on transforming complex engineering data into clear, actionable documentation for critical defence systems, this is your opportunity to contribute to innovative, future-oriented projects that shape tomorrow's technology.

Your Mission (Key Responsibilities):

Create and refine essential technical documentation like maintenance, service, user, and repair manuals, strictly adhering to S1000D specifications.
Conduct independent on-site research at customer locations to gather comprehensive technical information.
Perform detailed editorial work based on intricate construction documents, cutting-edge CAD models, and precise parts lists.
Develop and implement compelling graphic representations that demystify complex technical systems.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Knowledge):

A strong technical background - ideally a technical training qualification, state-certified technician, or an engineering degree (project-dependent).
Experience in aviation, defence, or naval sectors is highly desirable.
Proficiency in S1000D is a significant advantage.
Initial experience with 2D and 3D CAD applications.
Familiarity with Bundeswehr processes and documentation is a plus.
A true team player with a goal-oriented and independent work ethic.
Excellent English language skills are essential.
